GreenMargins ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our landscaping quote calculator and related services (the "Service").

10. Google User Data (the Gmail connection)

If you connect a Gmail or Google Workspace account to GreenMargins so the Service can send email on your behalf (the "Gmail connection"), GreenMargins asks Google for two permissions only: to see your email address, and to send email from your account (the Gmail gmail.send scope). GreenMargins never asks for permission to read, search, modify or delete the messages in your mailbox. Incoming email reaches GreenMargins only through a forwarding or routing rule that you set up yourself in Gmail or Google Workspace.

10.1 How we use it

  • Your email address identifies the connected account on the Messages setup page and is the sender address of the emails you send through the Service.
  • The send permission is used only to send emails that you, or a teammate you gave permission to in your workspace, chose to send from GreenMargins: replies to your customers' and leads' emails, appointment confirmations and follow-ups. Every email is drafted or approved inside the Service, and the Service sends nothing on your behalf outside the rules you set in your Messages settings.

10.2 Storage, sharing and deletion

  • The access tokens Google issues are encrypted at rest and are used only to send the emails described above. A copy of each email sent through the Service is kept in your workspace's message history, like any other message you send or receive there.
  • We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, do not share it with third parties other than the hosting and infrastructure providers that run the Service, and do not use it to develop, improve or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. No person at GreenMargins reads it unless you turned on support access in your Messages settings to resolve a request you made, or where the law requires it.
  • You can disconnect the Gmail connection at any time from the Messages setup page in the Service, or from your Google Account's third-party access settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting removes the stored tokens; your message history stays in your workspace until you delete it or your account.

GreenMargins' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
